MC Ruby Funkdoobie was born as Ruben Fernhout on May 15, 1973. He met DJ Jerry Leembruggen around 1998, and they started The Partysquad, a producers team that collaborated with Ali B, Willy Wartaal (De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig), The Opposites, Yes-R, DiceCream, Brainpower, Negativ, Lange Frans, SpaceKees, Kempi, among others.



Currently MC Ruby Funkdoobie and DJ Jerry Leembruggen are also making a claim to fame as a DJ team.
