Roger Landin was born in April 1972. He joined his first band in 1984 when he was 12 years old. Roger has a very wide playing style within the hardrock era and handles AOR rock as well as heavy metal which makes him very easy to work with.
In the late eighties Roger Landin join a female fronted AOR band called Alyson Avenue which later on lead to an album release through German label AOR Heaven. Alyson Avenues' debut album, "Presence of mind", is still available in net stores. The album was released back in 2001.
Roger got married in August 2002 with his lovely and understanding wife Madeleine.
Roger Landin is also the original drummer of Doctor Weird. He was replaced by Peter Mosebach in the mid-nineties due to personal circumstances but rejoined the forces in late 2000.
In 2004 at the side of Cloudscape Roger joined the Swedish melodic hardrock band Second Heat. Second Heat released their debut album through German label AOR Heaven the 25th of October, 2004.
Roger Landin was drummer and percussionist in Cloudscape until February 2009. Other instruments he plays are Timpani, Triangle, Cabasa, Woodblock, and Tambourine.
