Roel Hoogendoorn is beat creator, producer and dj for electropop duo Audioknights, along with Hugo van der Wolk on keys.



Born in the small town Badhoevedorp, located just outside of Amsterdam in Holland, this 19-year-old prodigy is ready to make his musical mark. His interest in music has grown throughout his life, and even from an early age, his intrigue with electronic music, in particular, has begun to develop.



Roel Hoogendoorn has been influenced by a variety of genres while growing up. First, he explored the massive sounds of Trance and the gritty elements of Techno, then slowly evolved into the Progressive House scene, where he has seemed to settle in lately. Today, Roel is an avid fan of James Holden's Border Community record label and the recent Experimental House movement.



Now producing music for a year and exploring a variety of styles, Roel Hoogendoorn gets his music more and more into shape every day. He is a very promising talent, already signing off his first several productions for two major upcoming releases.
