Rod Wills started his drum corps career in 1979-1983 with the Ridge Raiders from Ontario, Canada. He later marched with other Canadian corps such as Dutch Boy and St. John? until 1987 playing snare and tenors. In 1989 Rod came to the United States and joined The Empire Statesmen. His membership seasons with them included 1989-92, 1994-96, 1998 and 2002-2003. His cumulative affiliation with The Syracuse Brigadiers from 1999-2001 and 2004-present consists of marching, snare tech, bass tech and visual tech.
Rod Wills has had a tremendously rewarding career in DCA over the past 2 decades. His accomplishments include three undefeated drum seasons in 1994, 98, and 2001. He has also won 6 DCA Championships in 1991, 94, 98, 99, 00 and 2001.
Rod Wills' current teaching endeavor outside of the Brigadiers is as Percussion Caption Head at The University at Buffalo for the current season.
Rod Wills is currently Percussion Co-Caption Head for the The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps.
