After Clay Lytle departed the band, John McEntee decided to move Incantations home base to Johnstown, Pennsylvania early 1999. Soon after, John began to work with a local area drummer called Rick "Slim" Boast, who previously played in Necrotomie. The band vigorously prepared for the upcoming Diabolical Extermination US tour.
Sadly enough Rick departed from the band and Incantation was once again on the search for a drummer. Chris Dora, known as drummer for Integrity and Soulless, temporarily filled in on drums in March 1999.
