Venezuelan born Richard Bravo first arrived in Miami in 1979, and later moved to Orlando, Florida. He has studied music since the fifth grade, and has received private instruction and classical training. Richard's two older brothers are Salsa and Jazz musicians as well, proving that talent certainly runs in the Bravo family.

Richard has contributed to over two hundred recordings and has worked with such high profile performers as Shakira, Julio Iglesias, Celia Cruz, Ricky Martin, and Jon Secada. As a direct result of many of the recordings on which he has played reaching gold or platinum status, Richard has received nine Grammy Award Achievement Certificates.
Richard is currently playing with Carlos Oliva and Los Sobrinos del Juez, as well as with Ed Calle, with whom he has recorded and performed live.
Recently, Richard has recorded on the soundtrack for "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights"; contributed to Spanish singer, David Bisbal’s CD, "Buleria"; played on the new CD by Nestor Torres; and recorded live in New York City with Huey Dunbar for his new CD.
