Ricardo Longhi plays drums in Brazilian power metallers Eyes of Shiva. Longhi started playing drums at age 15 when he went to a record store he bought his first LP of Heavy Metal (Metallica - Kill 'Em All). Since this moment, Lars Ulrich was his greatest influence. Ricardo became completely fascinated with his "punch" on the drums and the heavy attitude and aggression it had. Longhi has studied with Maurício Leite.



Apart from Ulrich, Ricardo Longhi names Ringo Starr as inspirational drummer ("for his simplicity and creativity"), Maurício Leite ("his incredible technique, heavy creativity and attitude"), Terry Bozzio ("a genius"), Alexandre Barbosa and Scott Travis.
