Raymond was the second son of Premier's founder, Albert and joined Premier in 1946. Raymond's first job consisted of accounting work, costing and general administration work including writing all monthly trading accounts by hand. Not long after joining the company Raymond spent 3 years in the RAF where he specialised in technical work, mostly in Malta.
Upon his return to Premier, Raymond became a major force in Premier's rapid growth and development. He progressed to take charge of purchasing and warehouse supply, was involved in the majority of Premier's major breakthroughs in development and in 1973 became Production Director. Raymond retired from his final position of Vice-Chairman in 1981 and relocated to Soto Grande near Gibraltar.
