Ray McCaffrey was drummer in legendary Boston sludge/doom metal band Grief until they called it quits in March 2009.



Grief was founded in 1991 by Disrupt guitarist Terry Savastano and drummer Randy Odierno (who later switched to bass). They broke up in 2001 mainly due to drummer problems. Grief reunited for the first time in July 2005 to play a number of live shows.
