Drummer Rainer "Raikku" Tuomikanto is a well known figure in the Finnish metal scene, an artist and a technical phenomenon in the highest league. Rainer Tuomikanto has performed on dozens of records and toured with many Finnish bands including Amarantine. Raikku joined Kiuas in February 2011, replacing Markku Näreneva.
