Ethnic percussionist Rafik Samman plays framedrums, dumbeks (a Middle Eastern goblet-shaped drum), and the riq (a Middle Eastern tambourine with heavy jingles installed in two pairs of two around the frame), among other instruments.



Rafik Samman has played percussion with Cirque du Soleil since 2002.
