Associate Professor at the Berklee College of Music, Professor Henrique De Almeida holds a Masters Degree in Music Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of The Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.



Henrique De Almeida graduated in Jazz Composition. He is the leader of his own groups, The Brazilian Jazz Project and the Jazz Fusion Group World News featuring the world class Jazz Fusion Keyboardist and pianist Steve Hunt.



Henrique De Almeida is a clinician, for Yamaha Drums, LP Percussion, Vic Firth Sticks, Paiste Cymbals, HQ Pads, Evans drumheads and Earthworks Microphones.



A accomplished published author Henrique De Almeida is currently an artist to companies such as Berklee Press, Hal Leonard, Carl Fischer and Alfred. A in demand producer/composer, he is constantly delivering praised products to the music industry.



Henrique De Almeida works with some of the biggest names in the TV industry, such as HBO and commercial world to include writing original music for TV campaign with companies such as Victoria Secret and Australian David Jones Department stores. He also recorded and toured nationally and internationally with acclaimed USAFA Falconaires Contemporary Big Band , and The USAFA Rock Band Blue Steel. Henrique De Almeida has performed several times at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. He writes articles for Modern Drummer Magazine, performed at PASIC convention and numerous Jazz Festivals around the world. Henrique has performed for The President of the United States, Vice President, and Secretary of Defense.
