Pim Kilian is a Dutch musician, composer and producer. Kilian is a multi instrumentalist. His main instruments are drums, guitar, bass and keyboards. After more than 15 years as fulltime (Reggae) session drummer, Kilian started his career as producer.
As producer Pim Kilian worked with Professor Trance (real name: Frank Natale) and the Energisers (USA), Van Orly (NL), Dany Silva (POR), Third Force/Les Nubians(USA), Richenel (NL) and many more.
In 1994 Pim Kilian got his first major contract with Island Records Miami (USA) with Professor Trance and the Energisers.
Together with Dutch producer/musician Alain Eskinasi and writer/shaman Frank Natale in combination with (Island) producer Joe Galdo (a/o Foxy and Gloria Estefan) and with adding vocals from Betty Wright, the album Shamans Breath was realized. The album sells all over the world and has become a legend.
He now works with (silver harp and Dutch Edison award winner) singer Saskia van Orly. With her Pim composed and produced the success album Somebody hold me that got nominated twice with the Dutch Edison Award. There sophomore album was issued in 2006.
One of his latest projects is MICU, with female singer Amy Ghebemeskel from Iritrea (Africa) ,is an urban/triphop project where Pim Kilian does some serious experiments with the urban/triphop styles.
Another artist Kilian is working with is Mavis G Acquah, an new upcomming female R&B singer from Holland. Her dance voice will put you in extacy and her soulfull voice will make you warm.
