Phil Brewis joined Newcastle, UK-based "sillycore punksters" Stuffed in January 2005. Brewis is also playing drums in Blitzkrieg, heavy metal band from Leicester. He joined that band around 2000/2001, replacing Mark Wyndebank.
Phil was not heavily involved in bands after drumming for Tortured Souls but did have a brief spell in Whatever when he was only 16 years old.
A long lay off ensued and Phil Brewis didn't actually play drums again until joining Disposable Heroes around 1998. This gave Phil the opportunity of playing in numerous venues trhoughout Britain, playing in prestige venues like Bradford Rios and Newcastle City Hall.
After the demise of Disposable Heroes Phil Brewis joined Bltitzkrieg guitarist Paul Nesbitt in local band Krawl (Now XF-11) with former Disposable Heroes frontman Andy Metcalf.
Blitzkrieg then offered Phil Brewis the opportunity to play drums in the band following the departure of Mark Hancock.
The powerhouse of Blitzkrieg is now becoming very respected throughout the music community for his power and technique, even performing at guitar shows for Marshall Amplification alongside Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain.
