Phil Baheux (Etterbeek, 1967) is best known as drummer with Channel Zero.
Phil Baheux wanted to be a drummer when he was thirteen years old. For two years he worked every weekend to buy his first drum kit, a Premier set.
At age seventeen, Phil started his first band. One year later he recorded his first album at Studio Molière on Pilum Records with Gus Roan.
In 1990 Phil decided to split with singer Danny M (DV8, Angel Crew) and soon after started Channel Zero with Franky DSVD and Xaxier Carion from Cyclone.
Phil Baheux names Phil Rud (Ac/Dc), Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Gene Hoglan (Dark Angel), and Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine) as influences drummers but also bands like 24-7 Spyz and Living Color.
