Phil Achee was the original drummer with Texas-based metal band Militia, until he parted ways with the group in December 2012.



Militia was active from January, 1984 to August 1986. Eventually, all original members agreed to re-form and play Keep It True festival in Germany in April, 2009. After returning from a successful trip to Germany, the band began work on their first full-length album. The nearly 3-year process was finally completed when 'Strength and Honor' was released on March 15, 2012.
