Pete Salisbury, born as born Peter Anthony Salisbury in Bath on 24 September 1971, is best kown as powerhouse drummer and founding member of the Verve.
Pete Salisbury has been a professional drummer for the last 20 years and along with the Verve he continued to work with Richard Ashcroft on his solo career and has worked with other artists such as The Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club. Pete filled in on a UK/EU tour in 2002 when their original drummer Nick Jago could not get a working visa for BRMC's British gigs.
Pete is currently drumming for The Charlatans on their UK tour since original drummer, Jon Brookes, was diagnosed with a brain tumour while collapsing on stage, and is recovering.
Pete Salisbury also owns a drum shop, called Drummin, in Stockport.
