Session drummer Pete Hunt started playing the drums at the age of 16, as a result of being heavily influenced by the 80's rock and metal elite. After several years of playing covers with friends and local amateur bands, the hobby of playing the drums was taken over by a serious attitude to perform on a higher level, practising 3-4 hours a day became part of the daily schedule for quite some time, thus boosting my talent and confidence considerably.
By the early nineties Pete Hunt was gigging in Sydney and the surrounding areas with various bands on a semi-regular basis for two to three years and by the mid nineties as his talent and dedication grew Pete Hunt had hit the skins for some more considerably larger, professional bands.
Around the mid Nineties Pete Hunt started to learn to play the guitar solely for the purposes of song writing and by the latter end of the decade he had written, performed on and produced a self financed album recorded at various studios in Sydney, titled cement head under the name of Geared 4.
After a generous amount of shows over the years and some decent studio sessions in my homeland, Pete Hunt decided to relocate to London U.K. in the late nineties in search of dedicated musicians/bands. The search put Pete behind the skins with some major up and coming London metal acts, including Dragonforce, then known as Dragonheart, as well as Geared 4 which has been a brainchild of Pete for sometime.
So for the last vife years the experience of countless gigging in London and all over the U.K., tour's of Europe and major recording sessions have proved to be invaluable to the confidence and showmanship of Pete Hunt's drumming abilities.
In 2006 Pete Hunt joined long-running Birmingham-based heavy metal band Marshall Law (who at one time featured Lee Morris of Paradise Lost), replacing Chris Green.
