In 2000 Perry Dattilo of Robards, Kentucky became the first drummer to win the WFD battle of the feet competition with 824 single strokes.



In 2014 Perry Dattilo was again the WFD battle of the feet winner with a score of 840 singles. He also placed third with 930 single strokes in the battle of the hands competition that year.
