Pelle Åkerlind (Söderhamn, 1972) is drummer in Bloodbound, the Swedish metal band also featuring Urban Breed (ex-Tad Morose; vocals), Fredrik Bergh (Street Talk; bass, keyboards and backing vocals) and Tomas Olsson (lead and rhythm guitars).
He joined the group after Bloodbound's debut album, "Nosferatu", was recorded with Oskar Belin on drums. It was produced by Tomas Olsson and Fredrik Bergh.
Pelle Åkerlind is also also drummer in swedish metal bands Morgana Lefay, Lednote and 'party band' Rocktools. He has performed with Swedish singers like Monica Törnell and Marcus Öhrn.
Åkerlind gets inspired by a borad range of music, from jazz to death metal. Among his favorite artists are Vinnie Colaiuta and Tomas Haake.
Pelle Åkerlind started to play drums when he was eight years old. He received lessons from Roger Johansson. He also played both bass and guitar for a while.
