Patrice Hamelin is drummer in Martyr. In 2006 Hamelin made a guest appearance on Senate's album.



He names Gene Hoglan, Sean Reinhert, Virgil Donati, Rick Gratton, and Robby Ameen as favorite drummers.



Patrice Hamelin graduated from the music program - College CEGEP of Drummondville. Besides Martyr he also plays/played with Beneath the Massacre, Crucifixion and recorded with Horfixion.



In 2011 Gorguts parted ways with drummer John Longstreth and replaced him with Patrice Hamelin.
