Pat Spurgeon, also nick-named Peppermint Patty and Pee-Deet, is best known as sticksman for Rogue Wave. Pat was born in Athens Ohio. He grew up with music in the house, mostly rock Beatles, Stones, Dylan, sixties all the way. Pat Spurgeon learned to play the drums, and learned guitar. He moved to San Fransisco. Six years later he joined Rogue Wave. And he likes it.

On Friday January 12th, 2007 Pat Spurgeon underwent a successful kidney transplant surgeryafter a long course of struggling with kidney failure.
