Pat McGrath played drums on the Saosin "Translating The Name" EP (2003). He is not with the band any longer, however. Saosin's current drummer is Alex Rodriguez.



At one time Pat McGrath served as a drum tech for Slayer. He was also trained by such famous drummers as Carmine Appice, Dave Weckl, Dom Famularo, David Garibaldi, Kenny Aronoff, and Rod Morgenstein.



More recently, Pat McGrath has been running Unchained Studios in San Dimas, CA. He has also been playing drums in a Metallica tribute band (currently on hiatus) called Creeping Death as well as a punk band called Amerikan Made.
