Orhan Maslo-Oha was born June 5, 1978 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Orhan Maslo graduated from the School of Music in Mostar, where he studied both piano and voice. In 1995 with help from Alen Hubana he learns how to play the drums. Two years latter he studied in Italy with Professor and ex composer at the London Symphony Orchestra Mr. Nigel Osborne to became an assistant music-therapist
In period from 1997-1999 Orhan Maslo-Oha developed his potential as a percussionist with master drummer Eugenea Skeefa. For three years he has been working as a professor of Music in Elementary Schools in and around Mostar and also as an assistant to music therapists in the hospitals for mentally retarded persons in Pazaric and Fojnica.
As a musician Orhan Maslo-Oha has performed/recorded in France, Luxemburg, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Holland, Italy, United States of America and in the countries of former Yugoslavia, with artists and bands like: Metropola Orchestra, Vasil Hadžimanov Band, Mostar Sevdah Reunion, Brian Eno, Umoya Ensamble, Horace Andy, Prince Stanley, Duncan Sheik, Urban&4, Sevdah de Lux...
He worked as a percussion teacher at the workshops organized at the Purcell School of Music (London), Hanover Academy of Music, the Pavarotti Music Centre, High School of Recording Arts in Saint Paul (Minnesota).
Orhan Maslo enrolled in two colleges Berkley (Boston) and SOAS (London). But at the end he decided for SOAS in London which he is currently attending.
