Nick Buda moved from South Africa (Cape Town) to Nashville as a kid and has moved around quite a bit since, including a stint in Atlanta to play with Col. Bruce Hampton and the Codetalkers (used to be Aquarium Rescue Unit).
Nick Buda toured with them for about 2 years and got to jam with some awesome musicians including Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeski, Richie Haywood (dual drums), Mike Gordon and Jon Fishman(from Phish), Bob Wier, Oteil Burbridge, Jimmie Herring among many others, all while out on the road.
In March of 2002, Nick Buda moved back to Nashville and recorded and toured with many artists, including Edwin McCain, Richard Marx, Jedd Hughes, James Stroud, Maia Sharp, Steve Cropper, Bekka Bramlett, Rachel Proctor, Cyndi Thomson, Hillary Lindsey, Derek George, Mindy Smith, Nathan Chapman, Lori McKenna, Ray Kennedy, Jennifer Hanson, Tim Marks, Steve Mackey, Randy Houser, the awesome Lauren Lucas, Jonell Mosser, Rob McNelley, Stephanie Chapman, Jeffery Steele, Glenn Wharf, Gabe Dixon, Tom Bukovac, Micheal Rhodes, Shelley Fairchild, Emily West, Gordy Sampson, Kenny Greenberg, Dave Berg, Chad Carlson, Kate York, Jimmy Wayne, Victoria Banks, Kristen Hall, Bruce Wallace, Jackie Wilson, John Deaderick, Biff Watson, Mary Gauthier, Daryl Burgess, and oh so many more.
