Morten Løwe Sørensen plays drums in The Arcane Order and with Submission. This latter band's debut album "Failure To Perfection" was released on Listenable Records. Morten also plays in Koldborn (on Listenable Records as well) and has done session work with a lot of different bands. He replaced Anders Gyldenøhr of HateSphere several times on tour...



The Arcane Order was founded in 2000 as Scavenger, a death/thrash project featuring Flemming C. Lund (Invocator, ex-Autumn Leaves) on rhythm/lead guitar, Kasper Thomsen (Raunchy) on vocals and Boris Tandrup (Submission, Slugs, ex-Autumn Leaves) on bass. With Arcane Order Sørensen signed with Metal Blade Records in September 2005.



Other bands/projects Sørensen is involved in, are Submission, Slugs, and Strangler. He also joins Mercenary in early 2010, replacing previous sticksman Mike Park.



From 2009 he is member of Sweden's new pride Amaranthe. Check out the videos on his artist page on drummerszone.com.



Previously Morten Sørensen had played in Extreme Feedback and Unicorn. He names Savatage, Crimson Glory, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche, Vicious Rumors, Heir Apparent, Armored Saint, Titan Force and Lizzy Borden as some of his favourite bands.
