Minco Eggersman plays drums in The Spirit That Guides Us. Together with Martijn Groeneveld (J. Perkin's bass player and owner of Utrecht-based The Mailmen studios), Minco is also the driving force behind Sally Forth Records. Both are also involved in a project named Magnusson arrived from Fjörnebö.



Previously Eggersman played in Kryptonite Garden, grungewave act The Crutch and triphop collective Rollercoaster 23. In 2002 he decided to focus more on emocore band At The Close Of Every Day and decided to stop playing live with Rollercoaster 23, though he continued to be a member of the band. For live shows Eggersman was replaced by Marcel Broekman. In March 2004 the band state on their web site: "

"Rollercoaster 23 has had some really good years to look back at. However they've decided to end this beautiful chapter."

With Eggersman sitting bolt upright at his drum kit, centred at the front of the stage, singing from behind the drums, whilst flanked by bass and guitar, their stage layout is certainly not typical. However, neither is the music of At the Clos of Every Day. The trio (most of the time a duo) creates a subtle sound that carries waves of emotion – waves which seem greatly amplified by the rawness of their live performance, unleashed from the confines of studio technology.



In september 2004 Minco Eggersman released a solo album ("The Wagon Fair") under the moniker of ME, his initials.
