Michael Van Dyne was drummer and co-founder of US epic melodic death metallers Arsis. Mike recorded five studio albums and toured extensively with Arsis.
Mike Van Dyne parted ways with the group in January 2007, and was followed up by Darren Cesca.
Michael Van Dyne rejoined Arsis in April 2009 but left again in April 2012. This time Mike was succeeded by Shawn Priest.
Mike Van Dyne also played in the Albany/Troy, New York-based band Crimson Mask.
In October 2012 Mike joined The Final Sleep, replacing original timekeeper Mike Wood, who departed in June.
