Mike Rafferty joined Indianapolis-based death/thrash metal band Demiricous in January 2006 as a touring drummer, as a trial before making him a permanent band member.



Mike Rafferty had previously drummed with God Below and Brand New Sin. He had also done drum teching for Trivium drummer Travis Smith.
