Mike Hissam has been involved in the music scene for a number of years. As a drummer he's had the great opportunity to see a few dreams come true (touring, studiowork, etc... traveling) with several bands and projects. Says Mike Hissam: "I'm originally from the Warren/Youngstown, Ohio area and constantly strived to break every drumming standard I set before myself one after another. I believe in working towards bringing your talents to new levels at all times and goals set for yourself. I also don't believe in "attrition" and letting your talent slide over the years while getting older with a "good enough" attitude, remember someone else's "comfort zone" may be higher then yours and it may also be the "dividing line" in that next audition you do for someone else's project. And even further, I do not believe in "fading into the woodwork", because stage presence goes a long way, and putting in the extra effort on stage as well as keeping your stamina up helps the band to sound that much better together as a unit."



Mike Hissam got started at age 5. He comes from a family history of drummers. He also began in early 1988 (at a very young age also) to get serious in the music scene, wanting to cover as many genres as he could to expand his talents outward. Mike Hissam: "I could go on and on yet I believe in letting your "voice behind your instrument speak for you", not through written words. Lastly, I thank God for the talent I have, and am publicly sorry I used it very arrogantly for so many years. For whom without, I would not have this in the first place. I've had a lot of great memories with it (1988/1991/1993 were all great years!)."



Currently Mike Hissam is looking for any new music scene opportunties out there as long as it has a very secure/stable direction.
