Mick Murphy is best known as guitarist/main songwriter in My Ruin, the Los Angeles-based band fronted by ex-Tura Satana singer Tairrie B.



However, after drummer Yael Benzaken decided to leave the band abruptly in February 2005, it was Murphy who laid down all drum parts for their upcoming record "The Brutal Language".



New drummer Jason Brunk joined the band following the completion of the recording sessions.
