Being a hyper active hyper "kynetic" child you can imagine how the drumkit saved my life... as well as my mum's kitchen gear! She's glad that I found a proper way to channel my impulses.



I've always been interested in multiple ways of playing, from African djembé to Cuban Conga's, to jazzing and rocking drums. It is great fun to mix these various ways of playing, I mean: I could never ever stick to just one style. This has also to do with my love for Nature. I believe that people can connect with the spirit of the drums and nature through its rhythmic pounding. Just take the time to listen and to feel...



I've been a drummer all of my professional life. I've been studying classical and jazz percussion at the Rotterdam and New York Conservatory. I've been working in all kinds of formations, including musical productions like Les Misérables and Evita.
