Max Thornell plays the drums in Hearse, the band featuring former Arch Enemy vocalist Johan Liiva (real name: Johan Axelsson).



Thornell and Liiva previously played together from 1990 up until 1994 in the band Furbowl, which issued two albums through the Black Mark label. After Furbowl disbanded, Thornell showed up in Wonderflow, Satanarchy and D-Minus.



Max names Neil Peart (Rush, "You know why!") and Mick Harris (Napalm Death, "Most brutal and insane drummer ever!") as his favourite drummers.
