Max Duhamel replaced initial drummer Ariel Saide in Canadian metal act Kataklysm before their official debut ("The Mystical Gate Of Reincarnation") was released in 1993.
Duhamel was replaced by Nick Miller who would make his Kataklsym debut on the 1996 album "Temple of Knowledge".
However, Max Duhamel would make his come back on the 2000 album "The Prophecy (Stigmata Of The Immaculate)". He decided to part ways with the band for a second time in February 2003.
Jean-François Richard, known from Ion Dissonance and Blastfame, would temporarily fill in as a session drummer for live gigs. On Kataklysm's next studio album, "Serenity in Fire" Martin Maurais had taken place behind the drum kit.
