Maureen Tucker played drums in Velvet Underground between 1965–1972 and 1992–1994.



When Velvet Underground split up in 1973, Mo Tucker dropped out of music to raise a family.



Starting in 1981, Maureen Tucker began performing and recording again, releasing a couple of indie solo albums, some of which feature Velvet Underground member Sterling Morrison.
