Matt Connell joined Californian gore metallers Exhumed in November 2004. He replaced temproary drummer John Longstreth, who had left to join Dying Fetus.



Matt Connell also plays drums in Maryland grindcore merchants Strong Intention, and is known as drummer in Fuck The Facts.



In 2006 Matt Connell showed up in grind/hardcore project Drudgery, featuring Derek P.C. (Arise And Ruin) on vocals, Brent Munger (Arise And Ruin) on guitar, and Steve Ferraro (Dear Black Diary) on bass.
