Bo Martin Erik Eriksson was born in Uppsala (Sweden) August 27th, 1965. In his teens he moved to Bromma, and now he lives in the middle of Stockholm.
His musical career started early. During the eighties Martin Eriksson was a metal drummer in metal combo Hexenhaus.
Hexenhaus was a prime Swedish technical thrash/power group that formed from the ashes of Maninnya Blade. The band folded and reformed a couple of times - featuring Ralph 'Raideen' Rayden and John "Billy St. John" Billerhag behind the drumkit. Hexenhaus is currently disbanded. Guitarist and workaholic Mike Wead also played in Memento Mori, Mercyful Fate and Abstrakt Algebra.
After having been a drummer for many years Martin Eriksson met up with Stakka Bo in 1991. Naming himself "E-type" now, he started making dance music and became quite succesfull as a singer.
