Mark Bistany drums in ritualistic Nu- Metal band Otep (an anagram of 'Poet'). Previously Bistany gathered experience by working with bands like Bone Angel, One Angel, Impelliterri and Cellophane.



In March of 2003 Otep utilised the temporary services of drummer Scot Coogan for a promotion tour.



For recording of their second full length album the band asked Slipknot's Joey Jordison to guest appear on several tracks.
