Mark Hernandez drums in Re:Iginition, the San Francisco Bay Area-based band led by Skinlab's vocalist Steev Esquivel (initially the band named themselves Def Ignition). He is featured on their album 'Empty Heart, Loaded Gun'.



Mark Hernandez also plays drums in Forbidden, Demonica, and Social Unrest. He was part of Heathen from December 2007 - June 2008, replacing Darren Minter.



Previously Mark Hernandez played in Vio-lence, Technocracy, Torque and Defiance.



Defiance officially disbanded in 1993 after the departure of vocalist Steev Esquivel (who would go on to form SkinlaB, and later Re:Ignition), while the remaining members, with the addition of vocalist Dave Godfrey White (Heathen), formed Inner Threshold, which would also eventually disband.
