Mark Halfon raised in Los Angeles,CA, began his music career in the 1980's as a drummer for the band Invaders, and later joined Dark Angel for a short period of time. Michael Curry of the band Assault recommended him to Lexicon.



Mark Halfon's distinctively heavy-handed drumming, a style he learned from banging marching band sticks on his bed as a teenager is the driving force behind his current band, The Slum Lords.
