Marcel van der Linden, best known as Messerschmitt Marzl - drummer with The Anacondas, passed away in his hometown Amsterdam in the early morning of Tuesday October 18th 2005 at the age of 41 from the consequences of an internal bleeding in his lung system.



Marcel van der Linden is survived by his girlfriend and soulmate Babette and his 8 year old son Gijs.



Marzl was with The Anacondas since the beginning of band in 2000 and can be heard an all recordings they made during their existence.
