Maciej Zieba drummed for two periods in Polish metal band Sceptic. The first time it was as the initial drummer when they started under the moniker of Tormentor in 1994, changing their name one year later to Sceptic. In 1998 Zieba was replaced by Kuba Kogut.
As Kogut parted ways with the band to move to the US, Sceptic re-acquired Maciek Zieba in February 2000.
However, he was replaced by Jakub Chmura on Sceptic's 2003 album "Unbeliever's Script".
Maciej "Carol" Ziêba was also drummer and co-founder of black metal band Crionics (1997-2000) and plays drums for Infernal Maze.
