Lumar LeBlanc, nicknamed Big Cheeky, is snare drummer and co-founder of New Orleans brass ensemble The Soul Rebels.



Lumar LeBlanc was born in New Orleans, where he attended Corpus Christi grammar school, and the famous St. Augustine High School. As a Texas Southern University graduate, his musical influences include the Olympia and Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and The Doors.



In December 2011 Lumar and his band opened all four Metallica 30th-anniversary shows and jammed with Lars Ulrich and Metallica every night.
