Former Shadow Gallery drummer Kevin Soffera was first feauterd on their second album 'Carved In Stone'. Kevin Soffera has also played with Greg Howe, Liquid A, The Electric Farm and June Rich. After his departure from Shadow Gallery he became now the new drummer in the band Seether. The band signed to Wind Up Records who is also home to Creed and have a record out called Disclaimer. Their song Fine Again was on MTV and MTV2, hit the Billboard Modern Rock Charts and has been on the charts itself for over 30 weeks.
Kevin hit the road for the MTV/Nokia Spring Break tour and will be playing with The All American Rejects and The Donnas. His first gig with the band was at The House of Blues in Orlando FL on March 17th and the tour continued to the end of March. The band then had a 10 day vacation and the tour resumed in Mad April of 2003. Seether also appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Kevin commented: "It's been a crazy whirlwind with everything happening so fast and I truly feel blessed. I just wanted you all to know what was going on just in case you see me on the tube or in a town near you..."
Kevin Soffera studied at Musicians Institute, Hollywood, CA and graduated in 1989 as Outstanding Student of the Year sponsored by Yamaha. He is currently endorsed by Remo Drums and Rimshot Sticks. In demand as a session and clinic player and has his own teaching drum studio. In 2000 Kevin won Best Drummer in the Lehigh Valley Music Awards.
