Keith Wilson was a longtime Central Florida drummer seen by thousands of theme-park visitors and concertgoers.
Keith Wilson, who also worked as a composer, moved from California to Florida to work at Walt Disney World in 1981. He worked in shows there for more than 25 years, from the Kids of the Kingdom stage show at Cinderella Castle to a series of productions and bands at Epcot.
Keith Wilson had a reputation and career beyond Orlando. He worked with Broadway touring companies and performed with celebrities, including the late Joan Rivers, Idina Menzel and Charo. An early recording session at Disney-MGM Studios, now called Disney's Hollywood Studios, caught the attention of producer Phil Ramone, who hired Keith to work with Julien Clerc.
Keith Wilson died September 9, 2014 after a heart attack at his Windermere home. He was 55.
