Jules Vleugels was born as Jules Marc Vleugels in Emmerich, Germany as son of Dutch parents.
Jules drummed on Orphanage's 1995 album 'Oblivion', after original drummer Stephen van Haestregt left in 1994. After the recordings, Jules departed from the group and was replaced by Erwin Polderman.
Also known as DJ, Jules Vleugels was a programmer/researcher with an extensive background in professional audio software design as well as a Ph.D. in computer science. He worked with established companies like Audio Ease (on Altiverb and Speakerphone) and Camel Audio (Alchemy) and
eventually founded his own company for audio tools and plugins called 112dB's.
Jules Vleugels passed away on January 23, 2011, at the age of 41.
