Multi-instrumentalist Jules De Martino plays drums in indie pop duo The Ting Tings, along with Katie White.



Jules De Martino grew up in Cumbria. Prior to the Ting Tings, he was a member of indie band Babakoto, who released the single Just To Get By in 1994. When Babakoto split up, De Martino became singer in the group Mojo Pin.



The Ting Tings were one of four performers who played small interludes consisting of remixes of past hits throughout the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. They played a section from Shut Up and Let Me Go with former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and dj AM.
