Jürgen Reil (Gelsenkirchen, 1966), better known as Ventor, is one of the original members of Tormentor and then later Kreator. He has been drumming since 1982. Jürgen names Neil Peart as his favourite musician and Graspop 2002 as his best gig played.



Ventor has left the band at least twice because of personal reasons, but has always come back... He returned behind the kit on Kreator's 2001 album 'Violent Revolution' and hasn't left since. The only Kreator album that Ventor doesn't play on is 1995's 'Cause For Conflict', which featured Joe Cangelosi.



Factoid: Jürgen "Ventor" Reil used to do some vocals on the first three albums, and still does if they play any of those songs live.
