Jonas "J.C." Carlsson was the initial drummer of Swedish hardcore outfit Misconduct. The original lineup startet in 1995. After the release of "A New Direction" in Februay 1999 Misconduct went overseas for an extensive promotion tour in the US and Canada. After the tour Misconduct was supposed to join New York's Madball for a five week European tour followed by a two week U.K. tour on their own, but then tragedy struck. Three weeks before the tour with Madball, drummer Jonas left the band and Misconduct had to cancel both their upcoming tours.
After searching for a new drummer without any luck they brought Henke Bergström from Solquake into the band as a temporary solution and in June the four played together as Misconduct at Sweden's biggest music festival in Hultsfred. The gig went great and the guys decided to continue together with Henke until they found a drummer who could be a permanent member of the band.
It was a great thing for the band to go on the road for 5-6 weeks, but it was also a problem when Henke Bergström couldn't be away from home for more than 2 weeks. So once again the guys had to start looking for a new drummer. Three weeks before the tour they found what they had been looking for: Misconduct's new drummer became Mattias Pettersson.
