Joseph M. LaCaze, better known as Joey LaCaze, was drummer and co-founder of Eyehategod, and drummed with Outlaw Order and The Mystick Krewe of Clearlight. Joey LaCaze also performed ceremonial voodoo drumming and in numerous solo experimental electronic projects.



Joey LaCaze passed away on August 23rd, 2013 in New Orleans after a five week UK and European tour with Eyehategod.



Doctors confirmed to family members the cause as respiratory failure. Joey suffered from severe long term asthma.
